Rock on the Range , May 2013

Rock on the Range happens every May in Columbus, Ohio.  It is the largest rock festival in the United States of America. Over one weekend, it features over forty bands from all around the world. Rock on the Range has been held annually since 2007 through 2013.  Every year out does the year before with new ideas each year. For example, this 2013 year is the first year that there has been a comedy tent. It was a great way to hear and see new and upcoming comedians,  along with getting cool inside the comedy tent. The festival began the Friday night kick-off in 2011 and has since kept improving on Friday evening's festivities, adding more bands to the line-up.  In 2013 beginning on Friday evening and lasting all through Sunday night, fans got to see over forty rock bands play. Alternative, rock, metal and every other genre of rock was represented at Rock on the Range. Whether a band plays on the main stage or not, fans scurry to hear their favorites from three different stages. The time sets for each bands stage play is staggered so you can see every band that plays the festival. If you are in a rock band it is the highest of highs to hear a crowd of over sixty-five thousand cheering.  It is a truly amazing experience to see all the fans and all the bands in one place. Music really brings the world together.
